Awesomeness

I know this is a bit late if you saw it, but I forgot until now. There is going to be an awesome Christmas special of Doctor Who! On Children in Need it was shown and they are auctioning off the clothes that the Doctor wears! Unfortunately, I didn't get anything. The special looks so awesome: it is called 'The doctor, the widow, and the Wardrobe! Here is a link to the children in need clip:

Nyan cat

As a lot of you know, Nyan cat is basically a cat with a poptart body, which flies through space squeking 'nyan'. That may seem utterly weird, but it is kinda addictive. It is on youtube, but here is a link to the actual thing: http://nyan.cat/
You should try to see how long you can 'nyan' for. It is very annoying after a while, but muting it is cheating.

Fan's pokemon

I think you should know that I like the video games 'Pokemon', and I found these quite well done. They are a fan's ideas of the starters for the new games, as the silhouettes were shown and they worked from that. I think that the grass one looks quite like Snivy actually does, but the others are different types.

Haiku

I was thinking about haiku, a form of japanes poetry with a 5-7-5 syllable rythm. I made a few about Doctor Who:

This one is entirely made of quotes:

I see the Silence!
Oh my God, is that Star Trek?
Joy, her name was Joy.

About Daleks:

Wiped out with Time Lords,
But stay alive still to fight -
It was all pointless.

About cybermen:

Cased in cold metal,
Human emotions all gone -
Upgrade Completed

Weeping angels:

Stone angels standing.
One moment they're there, then 'blink' -
Just like that, they've moved

Silurians:

Deep under the ground,
Ancient Silurians sleep,
Their planet stolen.

I like this one because it shows what the Silence do to one's memory:

I see the Silence!
What was I thinking just then?
I cant remember.

Gender?

The doctor's gender is often questioned, but there are two reasons why we know that in David Tennant's form, he was male:
1. Lady Cassandra commented, "So many parts," when she was living in his body in New Earth
2. When Donna Noble saw his human clone naked in the TARDIS (let's not dwell too long on that) she did not comment on anything out of the ordinary, implying that she expected him to be male, and he was.
However, he himself said that he could regenerate into a woman's form, and we have no strong evidence about Matt Smith's form...

I'll leave you to work out what I'm saying

Doctor stereotypes

There are some very unnecessary stereotypes about the doctor. For instance, many people think of him as an old man, who doesn't listen to pop music. However, in The End of The World, series 1, he listened to two pop songs in one episode! (Tainted Love and Toxic). These were played on Lady Cassandra's 'IPod'.

Risotto!

David Tennant shrieking 'risotto!' to emphasize his effeminate side in 'Nan's Christmas Carol.' If you haven't seen it, the you should now, though it does contain some swearwords.  Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDoVPgTMbJg&feature=related

David Tennant

This is David Tennant singing along to 'Ghostbusters' in 'Nan's Christmas Carol' by Catherine Tate. Both of the actors mentioned are former stars in Doctor Who.
